Startrax

Startrax was a short-lived British comic book imprint published by Marvel UK in 1984. It was primarily intended to showcase original science fiction and fantasy stories aimed at a younger audience than Marvel UK's established titles like Doctor Who Magazine or The Daredevils.

The main title published under the Startrax imprint was Startrax, an anthology comic which featured several ongoing strips. These included The Knights of the Galaxy, a space opera adventure; Zzrrb!, a humorous strip about a small alien; and The Tracker, a post-apocalyptic survival story. The comic also featured one-off stories and puzzle pages.

Startrax comic lasted for a relatively brief run, spanning approximately 12 issues. While it failed to achieve mainstream success, it is remembered by some comic book fans for its unique approach to science fiction storytelling and its attempt to introduce new characters and concepts. The imprint was eventually discontinued, and the individual storylines were left unresolved. Some of the creative talent involved went on to work on other Marvel UK titles or pursued careers in other areas of comics and animation.
