Nova (Spanish TV channel)
Nova is a Spanish free-to-air television channel owned by Atresmedia. It primarily broadcasts reruns of telenovelas, dramas, and films. Nova is targeted towards a female audience.
The channel was launched on November 20, 2005, initially named Antena.Nova. It was later rebranded as Nova in 2010. Nova focuses on programming that has previously aired on other Atresmedia channels, such as Antena 3 and laSexta, giving these programs a second airing opportunity. It also acquires foreign content, mainly telenovelas from Latin America and Turkey, for broadcast.
Nova's broadcast schedule typically includes multiple daily episodes of various telenovelas, interspersed with films and reruns of Spanish drama series. The channel's availability is widespread throughout Spain via digital terrestrial television (DTT). It can also be accessed through various online platforms and television providers offering Atresmedia channels.
