Stanislas Lami

Stanislas Lami (1858 – 1944) was a French sculptor and painter, known primarily for his equestrian sculptures and genre scenes. He was a student of Jean-Louis Gérome and Emmanuel Frémiet. Lami's work often depicted horses in dynamic poses, capturing their power and grace. He exhibited regularly at the Salon in Paris, winning medals for his sculptures. His sculptures are often characterized by their realistic detail and expressive movement. In addition to sculpture, Lami also worked as a painter, creating scenes of everyday life and portraits.
