Southside (Sam Hunt album)

Southside is the second studio album by American country music singer Sam Hunt, released on April 3, 2020, through MCA Nashville. It comes nearly six years after his debut album, Montevallo.

The album features a blend of country, R&B, and pop influences, characteristic of Hunt's distinctive sound. Southside includes previously released singles such as "Body Like a Back Road," "Kinfolks," "Downtown's Dead," and "Sinning with You." It also features several new tracks.

Upon its release, Southside was a commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number five on the Billboard 200. The album was generally well-received by critics, who praised its sonic diversity and Hunt's songwriting. Some critics, however, found the album inconsistent in its quality.
