Solid Gold (album)

Solid Gold is the third studio album by the British post-punk band Gang of Four. It was released in March 1981 on EMI Records in the United Kingdom and Warner Bros. Records in the United States.

The album is known for its more angular and abrasive sound compared to their debut album, Entertainment!. It maintains the band's signature politically charged lyrics, addressing themes such as consumerism, labor relations, and social inequality. Solid Gold features the singles "Outside the Trains Don't Run on Time" and "He'd Send in the Army."
