Walter Sutherland (rugby union)

Walter Sutherland (born 1890, died 1976) was a Scottish international rugby union player. He played as a forward.

Sutherland was born in Edinburgh and educated at Edinburgh Academy. He earned five caps for Scotland between 1920 and 1923. He was part of the Scotland team that won the Grand Slam in the 1920 Five Nations Championship. Sutherland also played for Edinburgh Academicals. He served in the Royal Scots during World War I.
