Gościkowo

Gościkowo is a village in Poland, located in the administrative district of Gmina Skąpe, within Świebodzin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is situated approximately 6 kilometers (4 miles) north-east of Skąpe, 12 km (7 miles) south of Świebodzin, and 31 km (19 miles) north of Zielona Góra.

Gościkowo is historically notable for the Gościkowo-Paradyż Monastery, a former Cistercian abbey. The monastery played a significant role in the religious and cultural life of the region for centuries. Founded in the 13th century, it was an important center of learning and spirituality. The monastery complex features impressive Baroque architecture. The site continues to function as a seminary.
