Snafu (Snafu album)

Snafu is the eponymous debut album by the British rock band Snafu, released in 1973. The album showcased the band's blend of blues rock, funk, and soul influences. It was released on the WWA Records label. While not a major commercial success upon its initial release, Snafu established the band's reputation for tight musicianship and a distinctive sound. Notable tracks on the album included "Lock and Key," "Dawning of Our Day," and "Long Gone." The album features Bobby Harrison, former Procol Harum drummer, on vocals and keyboards, Micky Moody on guitar, and other accomplished session musicians. Snafu is generally considered a solid example of early 1970s British rock with a strong blues and funk edge.
