Slugs (1988 film)

Slugs is a 1988 Spanish-American horror film directed by Juan Piquer Simón. The film is based on the 1982 novel Slugs by Shaun Hutson. The plot revolves around a small rural town in the United States that is terrorized by an infestation of mutant, carnivorous slugs that are breeding rapidly and killing residents.

The film stars Michael Garfield as Mike Brady, a public health inspector who investigates the strange deaths plaguing the town. He discovers that the slugs are responsible and attempts to find a way to stop them before they consume the entire population. The cast also includes Kim Terry, Philip Machale, and Alicia Borrás.
