Rohuwa
Rohuwa is a village development committee (VDC) located in the Rautahat District of Province No. 2 in southern Nepal. VDCs are the lowest level of local government in Nepal, responsible for local administration and development activities within their designated area. Rohuwa, like other VDCs, encompassed several smaller settlements and agricultural lands.
Historically, Rohuwa's economy was primarily agricultural, with rice, wheat, and other crops being the main sources of income. The area is also characterized by its rural setting and community-based lifestyle.
Following Nepal's transition to a federal republic and the implementation of local level elections, the VDC structure, including Rohuwa, was dissolved and replaced by municipalities and rural municipalities. Rohuwa is now likely part of a larger local government unit. Information on the current administrative structure and development priorities of the region would require accessing up-to-date government records and local news sources.
