Sheffield Ecclesall (UK Parliament constituency)

Sheffield Ecclesall was a parliamentary constituency in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

It was created for the 1950 general election, replacing part of the Sheffield Hallam constituency, and abolished for the 1983 general election, when it was largely replaced by the new Sheffield Hillsborough constituency.

The constituency was considered a safe Conservative seat during its existence. Its most notable MP was Sir John Osborn, who served from 1959 until the constituency's abolition in 1983.

The area covered by the Sheffield Ecclesall constituency included the Ecclesall ward of Sheffield, as well as surrounding areas. The constituency was generally affluent, contributing to its Conservative lean.

After its abolition, the area became part of Sheffield Hillsborough and Sheffield Hallam constituencies.
