Tim Briggs (politician)
Tim Briggs (born January 20, 1970) is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 149th legislative district, representing portions of Montgomery County.
Briggs was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2008. He has served on several committees, including Appropriations, Judiciary, and Transportation. He is known for his work on issues related to transportation, economic development, and environmental protection.
Prior to his service in the legislature, Briggs worked as an attorney. He graduated from Temple University School of Law.
Briggs has been a vocal advocate for improving infrastructure in Pennsylvania and has sponsored legislation aimed at addressing the state's transportation needs. He has also been involved in efforts to promote economic development and create jobs in Montgomery County. He resides in Upper Merion Township with his family.
