Saryagash

Saryagash is a town and the administrative center of Saryagash District in Turkistan Region, Kazakhstan. It is located near the border with Uzbekistan, about 135 kilometers south of Shymkent, the regional capital.

The name "Saryagash" (Сарыағаш) literally translates to "yellow tree" or "yellow wood" in Kazakh. The town is known for its mineral water springs and sanatoriums, which attract visitors from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries seeking health and wellness tourism. The Saryagash mineral water is considered to have therapeutic properties and is bottled and sold commercially.
