Roland Gerber (footballer)

Roland Gerber (born 11 May 1953) is a former Swiss footballer who played as a midfielder.

Gerber spent the majority of his club career playing for BSC Young Boys in the Swiss Super League. He played for Young Boys from 1974 to 1985, appearing in 316 league games and scoring 65 goals. He was a key member of the Young Boys team that won the Swiss Championship in 1986, although he was no longer with the team at that point, having moved to FC Baden the previous year.

Prior to joining Young Boys, Gerber played for FC Münsingen. After leaving FC Baden, he played for SC Burgdorf.

Gerber also represented the Swiss national team, earning 24 caps.
