Rodrigo Rodrigues (TV host)

Rodrigo Rodrigues (1975-2020) was a Brazilian television host, journalist, musician, and writer. He was best known for his work in sports journalism, particularly his coverage of football (soccer).

Rodrigues began his career in radio and print journalism before transitioning to television. He worked for several prominent Brazilian media outlets, including ESPN Brasil, Esporte Interativo (now TNT Sports Brasil), and TV Gazeta.

He was known for his engaging and passionate on-air presence, as well as his insightful commentary and analysis of the sport. Beyond broadcasting, Rodrigues was a musician and had a band. He also authored books, further showcasing his diverse creative interests.

Rodrigues passed away in July 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. His death was widely mourned in the Brazilian media and sports community.
