Reid baronets of Springburn and Kilmaurs (1922)

The Reid baronets of Springburn and Kilmaurs were a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 25 July 1922 for Sir John Reid, a prominent Scottish locomotive builder and partner in the firm of Neilson, Reid and Company, later the North British Locomotive Company. The "of Springburn and Kilmaurs, in the County of Ayr" designation refers to the locations in Scotland associated with the family and their industrial activities. The baronetcy became extinct upon the death of the 2nd Baronet in 1963. The family seat was inherited by a related family and the Baronetcy was lost.
