Rehberge (Berlin U-Bahn)
Rehberge is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U6 line in the Reinickendorf borough. The station is named after the Volkspark Rehberge, a large public park situated nearby.
The station opened on May 3, 1956, as part of the northern extension of the then-named "C-Linie" (today's U6). It was designed by architect Bruno Grimmek, who was responsible for many of the stations built during this period. The station's design is relatively simple, with tiled walls and a central platform.
Rehberge station provides access to the Volkspark Rehberge, a popular recreational area for locals and tourists alike, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, and other outdoor activities. The station is also conveniently located for residents of the surrounding residential areas.
The station is served only by the U6 line, which runs north-south through Berlin. Connections to other U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines are available at nearby stations, such as Leopoldplatz and Kurt-Schumacher-Platz.
