Batzarre
Batzarre is a Basque political party operating in the Chartered Community of Navarre (Spain). Founded in 1979, it is considered a left-wing, Basque nationalist party. Its name means "meeting" or "assembly" in Basque. Batzarre advocates for social justice, self-determination for Navarre within the Basque Country, and the promotion of Basque language and culture. While historically a small party, Batzarre has participated in various electoral coalitions and has held seats in the Parliament of Navarre. Its political influence is primarily concentrated within the Navarrese Basque-speaking region. The party's ideology blends elements of Basque nationalism with a focus on social and economic equality.
