Rehberg (Wasgau)
Rehberg is a 576.8 meter (1,892 ft) high hill in the Wasgau region, which is the southern part of the Palatinate Forest in Germany. The Wasgau itself is also part of the Franco-German Palatinate Forest-North Vosges Biosphere Reserve. The Rehberg lies southwest of the municipality of Annweiler am Trifels and offers views of the surrounding landscape, including the Trifels Castle. The hill is accessible via hiking trails and is a popular destination for outdoor recreation. Geologically, the Rehberg, like much of the Wasgau, is characterized by Bunter sandstone formations.
