Red Letter Day (EP)
A "Red Letter Day (EP)" refers to an extended play recording released by the band The Gaslight Anthem on April 20, 2004. It was the band's first official release under that name, following earlier material released under the name The Gaslight Project. The EP consists of four songs and is considered a significant early work in the band's discography, showcasing the band's evolving sound which blended punk rock energy with influences from Bruce Springsteen and other heartland rock artists. The songs on the EP often explore themes of working-class life, nostalgia, and personal struggles, which became hallmarks of The Gaslight Anthem's later work.
