Raiymbek batyr (Almaty Metro)
Raiymbek batyr is a station on Line 1 of the Almaty Metro in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is the eastern terminus of the line and is located near the Raiymbek Avenue. The station is named after Raiymbek batyr, a Kazakh warrior who fought against the Dzungar invaders in the 18th century.
The station features a platform with two tracks. The design of the station incorporates Kazakh national motifs and architectural elements. It provides access to a densely populated residential area and is a key transportation hub for the eastern part of the city.
