Radzanowo

Radzanowo is a village in Płock County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Radzanowo.

The village lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Płock and 84 km (52 mi) north-west of Warsaw. It is located in the historical region of Mazovia.

Administratively, Radzanowo is the seat of the Gmina Radzanowo, a rural administrative district. The gmina contains numerous villages, including Brochocin, Ciółkowo, Ciółkowo Małe, Dźwierzno, Grabowo, Kępa Polska, Kosino, Leksyn, Łęszczyn, Męczenino, Nowe Boryszewo, Radzanowo, Rogozino, Rydzyno, Skrzynek, Sławin, Stare Boryszewo, Stróżewko, Szczytno, Węgrzynowo, Woźniki, and Wólka Kobylańska.

Historically, the area around Radzanowo has been part of Poland since the formation of the Polish state. The region experienced periods of various administrative divisions and conflicts throughout its history.
