Raam (Southwest Papua)

Raam is an Austronesian language spoken in Southwest Papua, Indonesia, primarily in the Bomberai Peninsula region. It is classified within the South Halmahera-West New Guinea (SHWNG) subgroup of Austronesian languages. Raam is spoken by a relatively small community, and its vitality is considered threatened due to language shift towards Indonesian and other more dominant languages.
