Qin Fulin

Qin Fulin (秦福林, born in 1934) is a Chinese scientist specializing in applied mathematics and operations research. He is known for his contributions to the development of optimization methods and their application in diverse fields such as resource allocation, logistics, and scheduling.

Qin Fulin graduated from the Mathematics Department of Shandong University in 1957. He then joined the Institute of Mathematics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he has remained a leading researcher.

His research focuses on areas including linear and nonlinear programming, combinatorial optimization, and game theory. He has published numerous papers and monographs in Chinese and international journals, significantly contributing to the theoretical foundations and practical applications of optimization techniques in China.

Qin Fulin has also been actively involved in promoting the application of mathematical methods in industry and agriculture, advising various organizations on improving efficiency and decision-making processes.
