Qianlabeo

Qianlabeo is a genus of cyprinid fish found in caves and underground rivers in Guizhou Province, China. These fish are characterized by their adaptation to subterranean environments, often displaying reduced pigmentation and eyesight.

Qianlabeo are typically small in size and exhibit morphological traits associated with cave-dwelling fish, such as elongated bodies and sensory adaptations to compensate for the lack of light. They primarily feed on organic matter and small invertebrates found in their aquatic environment.
