Puss in Boots (1999 film)

Puss in Boots is a 1999 live-action/animated musical fantasy film directed by Phil Nibbelink. It stars the voices of Charles Shaughnessy as Puss, and features an original score and songs by Steve Melillo. The film is loosely based on the European literary fairy tale of the same name.

The film follows the adventures of Puss, a talking cat who wears boots, as he attempts to help a young miller's son win the hand of a princess, battling ogres and using his cunning to improve the young man's social standing.
