Danny Mills (footballer, born 1975)
Danny Mills (born Daniel John Mills, 18 May 1977) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He is also a pundit for BBC Radio 5 Live.
Mills began his career at Norwich City in 1995 but did not make a first-team appearance before joining Charlton Athletic in 1998. He quickly established himself and earned a move to Leeds United in 1999. He became a regular in the Leeds side, reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2001.
Mills was capped 19 times for England between 2001 and 2004 and was a member of the squads for the 2002 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2004.
Following financial difficulties at Leeds United, Mills joined Middlesbrough in 2004 on a free transfer. He spent two years at Middlesbrough before loan spells at Hull City, Manchester City, and Derby County. He retired from professional football in 2009.
Since retiring, Mills has worked as a football pundit for various media outlets.
