Private Eyes (Tommy Bolin album)
Private Eyes is the second and final solo studio album by American guitarist Tommy Bolin, released posthumously in 1976, shortly after his death on December 4, 1976. The album was released on Columbia Records. The songs included on Private Eyes differ stylistically from Bolin's previous solo album, Teaser, leaning more towards a funk and soul influenced sound, while still retaining elements of his hard rock and jazz fusion background. Notable tracks include "Shakey Ground," "Bustin' Out for Rosey" and the title track "Private Eyes". The album features a different backing band than Teaser, although the songs were composed and arranged by Bolin.
