Pigritia

Pigritia is a term, derived from Latin, that denotes slothfulness or laziness, particularly a reluctance to work or exert oneself. It encompasses more than just physical inactivity; it also includes a disinclination to mental effort and a general lack of enthusiasm for undertaking tasks. The term often carries a moral or ethical judgment, suggesting that the individual exhibiting pigritia is failing to fulfill their duties or obligations. It is considered a vice in many philosophical and religious traditions.
