Güglingen

Güglingen is a town in the district of Heilbronn, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located approximately 18 kilometers (11 miles) west of Heilbronn.

History:

Güglingen's history can be traced back to Roman times. The Roman settlement of Vicus Aurelianus was located in what is now Güglingen. Remains of Roman buildings, including a bathhouse, have been excavated in the area. The town was first mentioned in documents in the 8th century. Throughout the Middle Ages, Güglingen was under the control of various noble families. In the 14th century, it came under the control of Württemberg.
