Phantoms (film)

Phantoms is a 1998 American science fiction horror film directed by Joe Chappelle, based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Dean Koontz. The film stars Peter O'Toole, Ben Affleck, Rose McGowan, Joanna Going, and Liev Schreiber.

The story revolves around the small, isolated town of Snowfield, Colorado, where nearly all of the residents have mysteriously vanished, leaving behind only a few bizarre and gruesome clues. Dr. Jennifer Paige (Going) arrives in town to visit her sister Lisa (McGowan), only to find it deserted. They soon encounter Sheriff Bryce Hammond (Affleck) and his deputies, who are investigating the strange occurrences.
