Petronas

Petronas, officially Petroliam Nasional Berhad, is a Malaysian oil and gas company. Founded on August 17, 1974, under the Petroleum Development Act 1974, it is wholly owned by the government of Malaysia.

Petronas is responsible for managing Malaysia's petroleum resources. Its activities encompass a wide range of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, refining, marketing and distribution, petrochemicals, gas processing and liquefaction, and pipeline operations. The company operates both domestically and internationally.

Petronas is a significant contributor to the Malaysian economy, providing substantial revenue through royalties, taxes, and profits.
