Double Falls (Oregon)

Double Falls is a waterfall located within Silver Falls State Park in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is situated along the Canyon Trail, also known as the Trail of Ten Falls, and is part of the Silver Creek watershed.

The waterfall is named for the two distinct tiers of the falls. Water flows over a basalt cliff, splitting into two primary streams before plunging into the pool below. The combined height of the two tiers is approximately 178 feet (54 meters).

Access to Double Falls is via a relatively easy hiking trail. The Trail of Ten Falls loops past or behind a series of waterfalls, providing various vantage points of Double Falls. It is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The best time to view the falls is during the spring when water flow is at its peak due to snowmelt and rainfall.
