Wang Hesheng (politician)
Wang Hesheng (王贺胜, born June 1961) is a Chinese politician currently serving as the Deputy Director of the National Health Commission.
Born in Qingyuan County, Hebei Province, Wang joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1984. He graduated from Tianjin Medical University.
Prior to his current role, Wang held several prominent positions. He served as the Director of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission, and later as Vice Governor of Hubei Province. He notably played a significant role in the COVID-19 pandemic response in Wuhan, Hubei, being sent to the city in February 2020 as a member of the State Council's guiding group. He previously also served as Deputy Director of the National Health Commission before his time in Hubei.
Wang Hesheng is a delegate to the National People's Congress. His career has largely focused on public health administration and crisis management.
