Peter Munro (footballer)
Peter Munro is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Collingwood with pick #37 in the 2001 AFL Draft. A key defender, Munro played 86 games for Collingwood between 2002 and 2008. He was known for his strong marking and ability to read the play.
In 2009, Munro was traded to the Sydney Swans, where he played a further 13 games before retiring at the end of the 2010 season. Since his retirement, Munro has been involved in coaching and media commentary related to Australian rules football.
