Kaiser (lunar crater)
Kaiser is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the south-southeast of the larger crater Sklodowska and northeast of Von der Pahlen.
Kaiser is a moderately worn crater with a well-defined rim that has only suffered slight erosion. Several tiny craterlets lie along the rim edge, but the rim remains generally intact. The inner walls are somewhat terraced and slope down to a relatively uneven interior floor. This floor is marked by a few small craterlets. The overall shape is roughly circular, though some slight bulges are present in the perimeter.
The crater is named after the German astronomer, Frederik Kaiser.
