Paul Scott (footballer, born 1985)

Paul Scott (born 22 October 1985) is an English former professional footballer.

Scott, a defender, began his career with Rotherham United, making his debut in 2004. He played primarily as a centre-back or right-back. During his time at Rotherham, he also had a loan spell at Mansfield Town.

Following his departure from Rotherham United, Scott joined Boston United.

After Boston United, he played for York City.

His career also included a spell at Guiseley.

Throughout his career, Scott primarily played in the lower divisions of English football. His career was cut short by persistent knee injuries which led to his retirement from professional football. After retiring, he moved into a non-league coaching role.
