Paddy Bermingham (athlete)
Paddy Bermingham (born 1935, died 2014) was an Irish athlete who specialized in middle-distance running. He represented Ireland at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, competing in the 800 meters. He achieved notable success in national competitions, winning multiple Irish national championships in the 800 meters and 1500 meters. Bermingham was also a prominent figure in Irish athletics administration and coaching after his competitive career ended.
