Oranit
Oranit is a community settlement (also known as a local council) located in the central district of Israel, in the Sharon plain. It is situated close to the city of Rosh HaAyin and is considered part of the Gush Dan metropolitan area.
Oranit was established in 1985. Its name is derived from the orange groves that were prevalent in the area prior to its construction. The community is primarily residential, catering to families seeking a suburban lifestyle within commuting distance of Tel Aviv and other major employment centers.
The local council provides municipal services to the residents of Oranit, including education, sanitation, infrastructure maintenance, and community activities. Oranit has a relatively young population and boasts several educational institutions, parks, and recreational facilities.
