Oliver Alawuba

Oliver Alawuba is a Nigerian banker and business executive. He currently serves as the Group Managing Director/CEO of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, a pan-African financial services group headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.

Alawuba's career in banking spans several decades. Prior to his appointment as Group Managing Director/CEO of UBA, he held various leadership positions within the organization, including CEO of UBA Africa, overseeing the group's operations across the continent. He also held the position of Deputy Managing Director.

Alawuba is known for his experience in international banking, retail banking, and corporate banking. He is generally considered a key figure in the growth and expansion of UBA across Africa.
