Obrzycko

Obrzycko is a town in Szamotuły County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is located on the Sama River, a tributary of the Warta River.

Obrzycko has a population of approximately 2,200 inhabitants. It is part of the Gmina Obrzycko administrative district, of which it is also the seat.

Historically, Obrzycko was granted town rights in 1458. The town has a notable history, including periods under the control of various noble families. Its economy is primarily based on agriculture and small businesses.
