Nina ten Broek
Nina ten Broek is a Dutch-Canadian computational artist and creative technologist known for her work exploring generative art, data visualization, and interactive installations. Often working with code and algorithms, ten Broek creates visually compelling and thought-provoking pieces that explore themes of nature, technology, and the human experience. She holds a BFA in Computation Arts from Concordia University and an MFA in Art + Technology from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
Ten Broek’s work has been exhibited internationally. She has also given workshops and talks on creative coding and generative art. Her practice often involves using open-source tools and collaborating with other artists and technologists. Central to her artistic approach is the exploration of systems, whether natural or artificial, and the creation of digital artifacts that reflect their underlying complexities and emergent behaviors.
