Nik Nazmi

Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (born 11 November 1982) is a Malaysian politician currently serving as the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. He is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Setiawangsa.

Nik Nazmi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Politics from King's College London and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Malaya.

He began his political career in Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan coalition. He has held various positions within the party and previously served as a state assemblyman for Seri Setia in Selangor.

Throughout his political career, Nik Nazmi has focused on issues such as education, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability. As a minister, he is responsible for overseeing the nation's natural resources and implementing policies related to environmental protection and sustainability. He has also been vocal on topics such as climate change and biodiversity conservation within Malaysia.
