Mr Stink (film)
Mr Stink is a British television film based on the 2009 children's book of the same name by David Walliams. It was broadcast on BBC One on 23 December 2012. The film stars Hugh Bonneville, David Walliams himself, Sheridan Smith, Johnny Vegas, and introducing Nell Tiger Free as Chloe Crumb.
Plot:
The film tells the story of Chloe Crumb, a young girl who befriends a tramp, Mr. Stink. Chloe, feeling misunderstood and lonely at home, finds companionship in Mr. Stink and his smelly dog, Duchess. She invites him to live in her family's garden shed, hiding him from her overly ambitious and socially conscious mother. The story explores themes of homelessness, acceptance, family relationships, and prejudice, as Chloe navigates the complexities of her life and learns valuable lessons from her unusual friendship with Mr. Stink.
