Monster (Jimmy Smith album)

Monster is a 1965 jazz album by American jazz organist Jimmy Smith released on the Verve label. It features Smith in a quartet setting, accompanied by guitarist Quentin Warren, bassist Donald Bailey, and drummer Billy Hart.

The album is notable for its title track, a bluesy and energetic number that became one of Smith's signature tunes. Monster also includes interpretations of other popular songs, such as "Walk on the Wild Side" and "Goldfinger," the theme from the James Bond film of the same name.
