Chris Britton (baseball)

Chris Britton (born December 10, 1982) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, and Texas Rangers.

Britton was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 16th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut with the Yankees on May 25, 2007. He was traded to the San Diego Padres in 2009. Britton signed with the Texas Rangers on February 22, 2011. He was released by the Rangers on April 25, 2012.

Britton pitched primarily as a relief pitcher.
