Mohammad Nouri (footballer)
Mohammad Nouri (born January 9, 1983) is an Iranian former professional footballer who primarily played as a midfielder. He spent the majority of his career playing in the Iranian professional league, most notably for Persepolis. Nouri was known for his leadership qualities, passing ability, and work rate. He also represented the Iranian national team. Nouri retired from professional football in 2019. His career spanned numerous clubs within Iran, including Pegah Gilan, Esteghlal Ahvaz, and Saba Qom, before achieving prominence with Persepolis. He also had a stint with Khooneh be Khooneh in his later years.
