Misuse (band)

Misuse was a hardcore punk band formed in the early 1980s in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are considered a significant band in the early Vancouver hardcore scene. The band was known for their fast, aggressive sound and politically charged lyrics, often focusing on social and economic inequality, anti-establishment themes, and the dangers of conformity.

Misuse released several EPs and appeared on various compilation albums during their active period. They toured extensively throughout North America, gaining a reputation for their energetic and confrontational live performances. Although they were not commercially successful, they developed a devoted following within the punk underground.
