Mista (band)

Mista was a Japanese R&B group formed in 1994. They were notable for their smooth harmonies and sophisticated sound, and were part of a wave of Japanese R&B artists who gained popularity in the mid-to-late 1990s. The group consisted of four members: Hiroki, Kazuhisa, Shohei, and Takuya.

Mista released several singles and albums throughout their career, achieving moderate success on the Japanese charts. Their music often featured themes of love, relationships, and urban life. While they were primarily known for their R&B tracks, they also incorporated elements of soul, funk, and hip-hop into their sound.

Mista disbanded in the early 2000s, with members pursuing individual projects. Despite their relatively short time in the spotlight, they are remembered as a significant contributor to the Japanese R&B scene of the 1990s.
