Mike Martin (defensive lineman)

Mike Martin (born July 11, 1990) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football at the University of Michigan and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Martin attended Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan, where he was a highly regarded football player. He was a four-year starter and earned all-state honors.

At Michigan, Martin was a four-year starter and a three-time All-Big Ten selection. He was known for his strength, quickness, and relentless motor. He recorded 172 tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks during his collegiate career. He was a team captain his senior year.

With the Tennessee Titans, Martin played for seven seasons (2012-2018). He was a consistent contributor on the defensive line, primarily as a run-stopping specialist. He recorded 124 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble during his NFL career.
